You asked, we listened. We will be trading in our old hangar for a brand new skydiving facility. Observation deck, indoor plumbing and a 2 story airplane hangar, here we come!
August 20th - Breaking GroundThe construction of our new facilty has officially begun. We look forward to a smooth and swift construction process. September 10th - Building The FoundationA bunch of work already has been done. The ground has been leveled and gravel has been spread accross the new parking area. We are looking forward to more progress and will keep you posted as we go.
November 26th - FramingDriving by the dropzone on I-94, our hangar looks HUGE! All of the outside steel beams are up and you can really begin to see how large the hangar will be. Now begins the inside framing, starting first with the INDOOR BATHROOMS! Hopefully you are as excited as we are about having some indoor plumbing starting in the 2012 season.
February 7 - Dry WallAlright! We've got a roof over our heads and walls up. An industrial heater makes this place feel like Aruba! Well, not quite, but scarmbling around all day helps keep us warm. Dry wall is being hung and our building is really starting to take shape. It looks MUCH bigger when you are inside than the pictures show. The material for our packing mats and rigging loft is really squishy and I think you will all enjoy it very much. It's hard to contain our excitement, this building is simply GIGANTIC!
